ACCESSIBILITY PRIZE

As it is said “the worker who works deserves a reward”

Since 2014, FONHARE has worked tirelessly to influence populations towards the creation of inclusive and accessible communities through awareness campaigns on universal accessibility, training sessions for construction workers and the accessibility of infrastructure that serves the public such as (hospital, clinic, school, church and Public Square). As it is said “the worker who works deserves a reward”, in December 2017, the work of FONHARE was rewarded by the Office of the Secretary of State for the Integration of People with Disabilities (BSEIPH) and the Christian Blind Mission (CBM) by awarding it the “ACCESSIBILITY PRIZE” for its efforts in this area. Already more than 30 institutions have been made accessible by FONHARE in addition to changes in negative behavior regarding disability.
